Speaking of car movies,
this list from hotrod.com features the author's pick for the top 40 car movies ever made. The list includes a short synopsis of the film, who starred in it, and what cars were featured. Pretty entertaining read, and great to dream about some of the great cars in there.

Here is my list of the 4 funniest car movies. Don't you love top 4 lists?
4. Six Pack - Kenny Rogers is Brewster Baker, a washed out driver who gets back on track in his career with the help of 6 over cussing kids. Also features Diane Lane and Anthony Michael Hall back when he was moderately funny.
3. The Cannonball Run - Starring Burt Reynolds and Terry Bradshaw :), its basically a cross country car race that features the stories of a bunch of crazy characters. The racing is not that great, but the characters are great, or at least they were when I was 9.
2. Smokey and the Bandit - Another Burt Reynolds flick, this movie is great because of the Trans Am and the one liners of Jackie Gleason. The plot revolves around the Bandit (Reynolds) going to get Coors beer from Texarkana and taking it back to Atlanta within a small window of time, all the while being chased by the Sheriff Buford T. Justice (Gleason).
1. Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby - Will Ferrell stars as a half wit pit crew member turned NASCAR driver with two first names, Ricky Bobby. Absolutely one of the funniest movies of this generation. Also stars John C. Reilly and Sasha Baron Cohen.

The stereotypes are true. If you are old, you are in the market for a Buick. Perhaps that is changing. It appears that Buick, mainly through the Lacrosse, is making its way into a younger market, seeing its average buyer age drop from 72 to 65. Check out the article here.

After a bit of searching I found this article and am now about to buy some new shoes for the Suburban. This question is more important than it seems. Once I really thought I had enough tread on my tires, and when it blew out with all of the kids in the car, I began to be very careful.

The last post featured a great website for the inevitible run in with the Department of Motor Vehicles in your particular state. Over the next couple of months we will be dropping by the good ole DMV.org website every once in awhile to explore some of their wares. There is much to see, and one can get lost down various avenues of interest from the home page, not to mention where the other pages take you. All seemingly relevant information as well, so it is worth spending some time on, because there are 3 certainties in this life: death, taxes, and running into the DMV.
Though it doesn't cover every step of the process, the car buying guide is a great overview for those new to buying a car, or those needing a refresher.
