If you are like me, you are probably not going to be purchasing a real expensive car anytime soon. Hey you can get great used cars for half the price! But hold on a second...you can also get a NEW car for pretty cheap, but the question is, are cheap cars worth it, even if they are brand new? Check out the 10 least expensive rides of 2010, along with a quick review of each car,

Speaking of car movies,
this list from hotrod.com features the author's pick for the top 40 car movies ever made. The list includes a short synopsis of the film, who starred in it, and what cars were featured. Pretty entertaining read, and great to dream about some of the great cars in there.

Here is my list of the 4 funniest car movies. Don't you love top 4 lists?
4. Six Pack - Kenny Rogers is Brewster Baker, a washed out driver who gets back on track in his career with the help of 6 over cussing kids. Also features Diane Lane and Anthony Michael Hall back when he was moderately funny.
3. The Cannonball Run - Starring Burt Reynolds and Terry Bradshaw :), its basically a cross country car race that features the stories of a bunch of crazy characters. The racing is not that great, but the characters are great, or at least they were when I was 9.
2. Smokey and the Bandit - Another Burt Reynolds flick, this movie is great because of the Trans Am and the one liners of Jackie Gleason. The plot revolves around the Bandit (Reynolds) going to get Coors beer from Texarkana and taking it back to Atlanta within a small window of time, all the while being chased by the Sheriff Buford T. Justice (Gleason).
1. Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby - Will Ferrell stars as a half wit pit crew member turned NASCAR driver with two first names, Ricky Bobby. Absolutely one of the funniest movies of this generation. Also stars John C. Reilly and Sasha Baron Cohen.

Being in the middle of a road trip myself as I write this, I have already downloaded half of these. They are pretty right on. More to come on the trip in the next couple of days. Let's just say that it has been a wonderful time. The car has performed wonderfully, and the kids have been even better. Find the list
here.

Yes there are 100 different cars out there that can be considered "green." This is evidence that fuel efficiency has passed way beyond fad stage. See Yahoo!'s list
here, where cars are ranked according to their
green rating.

One would think that
this list would be chock full of SUVs. However, "in 2009, only two SUVs made it onto the Environmental Protection Agency and Department of Energy's annual list of the least fuel-efficient automobiles."

Having recently bought an iPhone, I thought
this article was extremely helpful. I was surprised by some of them, but needless to say, they are all on my phone now. Just make sure that the car is stopped when thumbing through them. Do you have any iPhone apps you'd like to share with us?
