Honda has a new concept to be shown at the
2010 Geneva International Motor Show. The 3R-C3, not to be confused with
this, is described as a "
revolutionary three wheeled battery electric vehicle concept shows what
a future minimal urban transport vehicle for one person might look
like. The battery electric drivetrain is mounted low in the three
wheeled chassis, therefore keeping the centre of gravity low and thus
improving stability." I think it looks like one of the
motorcycles from Tron, which at the end of the day, is pretty cool. It will be featured alongside the
FCX Clarity. See the press release
here.

...of the 2010 Ford Mustang. I need this car in my life. Learn all about it
here. I know that not everyone is a fan of the Ford, but I find myself liking them more and more. My old man, with his rustbelt sensibilities (though he's always lived in Texas), is religiously and eternally committed to the Ford. Its not because he knows anything about cars (he doesn't), and its not because he cares about the economy so much that he buys American (he doesn't), but its because his childhood friend owns a Ford dealership and is an insurance client of his. With those compelling reasons its amazing all people aren't Ford owners. With that said, the Ford has always had sort of a vanilla feel to it. Sort of generic and workmanlike. I used to not like that. Now I do. But with the new Mustang, there is nothing generic about it. Yet one gets the feeling, when looking at it, that it has a certain dignity to it that you just don't have have with other sports cars. I like the Mustang because there seems to be a perfect balance between classic and new. Between generic and unique. It doesn't shamelessly copy older successful models, but it doesn't forget about them either. And it doesn't shamelessly play to the shallow sensibilities of much of American consumerism.
