In a recent article from Automotive News, the Roadloans iPhone app is featured as doing something that no other car loan companies are doing: actually getting an auto loan on your mobile device.  According to the article: "The RoadLoans.com app is more squarely aimed at getting an auto loan than many other apps.  The closest comparison might be to apps....that refer customers to a network of dealers that offer pre-negotiated prices."  In addition to the nifty car loan calculator, which "allows customers to figure out what their monthly payment would be at a given interest rate, down payment, term and loan amount," the Roadloans iPhone app goes further.  More from the article: 

"Customers also can use the app to ask for credit, submitting their job and income information. If the customer is approved, the system e-mails the customer a pre-approval plus a password and log-in. That allows the customer to download and print out a loan packet."

The Roadloans iPhone app has recently received a nice write up on Yahoo! Finance.  If you haven't seen the app, it allows consumers to apply for a car loan directly from their mobile device, as well as serving as a car loan calcular.  If you are in the market for a car loan, or even if you're not, hustle on over to Yahoo! and check it out.

The car loan pre approval process for the Roadloans iPhone App is simple, consisting of 4 easy steps.  From the main screen (which is also the car loan calculator), begin the process by tapping the "apply" button.  Now begins the short road to a Road Loan. 

Getting Started:

On the first screen you have the option to select your car loan application type (individual or joint) and loan type (New Purchase, Used Purchase, Refinancing).  Below these is a yes/no radio button option to the question, "Have you chosen a vehicle?" Either option brings up Year, Make, and Model drop down options where you will choose your vehicle from the Roadloans database.  Seclect your vehicles and tap "next."  

Personal Information

On this screen you will enter your name, address, phone number and date of birth. Pretty standard really.  

Employment Info

On this screen you will enter the name of your employer, job title, time at job, primary and secondary income (weekly, monthly, or annually), and finally your social security number.  

Security Checkpoint

Finally after entering your employment information, you have one more screen where you must manually enter the code on the page, to ensure you are not a robot, and off goes your loan through the information superwebs.  A car loan was never so easy!
