Oftentimes we assume when getting an auto loan that we are stuck with what the dealer gives us. Some of us are simply uncomfortable trying to bargain. We don't like the confrontation, and we don't want to hurt the poor care salesman's feelings by putting him out and taking more money away from him. But negotiating is what makes this country great. Afterall, the dealers themselves negotiate to get the best prices possible for the cars they sell to you. You couldn't imagine them feeling sorry for the people they are trying to buy from could you? Hogwash!
